Purpose of the work

Two applications are to be created: To change the state of the edge device through REST calls, specifically configurations (configuration app), and to check use cases on the edge devices for plausibility (UseCaseTest app).

Field of activity

Familiarisation with Smart Factory topics, especially Edge Devices (ctrlX CORE), Snaps, Device Portal
Conception of both mentioned applications
Development of the configuration app to distribute configurations via REST
Development of the UseCaseTest app, including data backup and retrieval to/from a database that is integrated locally on the ctrlX CORE
Mockup of the input data for the special UseCase: state machine
Testing of both applications

What you should bring along:

• Degree in the field of computer science or comparable
• Basic knowledge of software development
• Basic knowledge of C#, JavaScript, REST, ASP.NET, Python, InfluxDB
• Ability to work in a team
