About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth and building strong industry relationships?

Thundergrid is seeking a dynamic Business Development Managerto join our team in Australia, to lead sales initiatives, forge key partnerships, and shape the future of our innovative product and service offerings.This role is full-time and permanent based in Newstead, Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, sales forecasts, and business proposals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with private businesses, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Represent Thundergrid at conferences, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings across Australia.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, consultation and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies and market insights.
  • Spearhead tender responses, contract negotiations, and service agreements.
  • Promote Thundergrid’s cutting-edge technology and services to partners and customers.
  • Provide specialist advice on products and services we are offering.

About You

  • You will possess a minimum of 5 years’ extensive sales experience, ideally in automotive, energy, and infrastructure.
  • Proven ability in B2B business development, sales, or account management.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster executive-level relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving measurable sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Possess a valid Australian driving license.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
