What it's about

This position offers an excellent opportunity for you to join the Group Reward Team which owns and manages the design, development and execution of the company’s global compensation strategies and activities in support of our industry sector-aligned business needs. We are looking for an experienced professional to join a high performing team in charge of driving best Reward practices and state-of-the-art processes across all regions. You will work closely with key contacts in the business, in other corporate functions, the regional HR teams globally and with external vendors. This role offers an exceptional career opportunity to gain broad exposure across all business units of Partners Group, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure governance and oversight, including consistent application of the group's compensation policies and guidelines in line with legislative and regulatory requirements

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to inform employees about compensation and benefits programs through first-rate communication. Apply stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence all levels of management by clearly articulating complex compensation concepts to business leaders
  • Analyze market trends and prepare reports on external developments and changing industry standards. Proactively monitor and respond to updates to employment legislation, financial services regulations, and pay equity compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to develop competitive compensation packages for attracting top talent and implementing retention strategies
  • Forecast and control costs related to salaries, incentive plans, and benefits. Work cross-functionally with the Legal, Finance, and Tax departments
  • Coordinate relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure the cost effective delivery of benefits programs
  • Provide excellent customer experience and build and maintain successful, trusting relationships with global stakeholders
What we expect
  • University degree (preferable business administration, economics, or comparable studies) and/or minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of corporate structures, operations and the regulatory environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of compensation models, with specific understanding of nuances for an employee base in the private equity sector
  • General global understanding of all aspects of Reward, including compensation, mobility, LTI design and administration, and associated payroll, income tax, and social security principles
  • Experience with the management of global benefits is a plus
  • Ability to analyze advanced compensation frameworks, distill critical insights, and communicate findings persuasively to drive informed decisions
  • Willingness to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment, ideal for candidates who can balance multiple priorities and enjoy tackling complex challenges
  • Team-oriented, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong global mindset and sensitivity to various cultures
