For our client in the financial industry, we are looking for a Data Platform Engineer – Azure Databricks (Unity Catalog).

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize the use of Unity Catalog for data governance and management within the Azure Databricks environment
• Support the initial setup, configuration, and integration of Unity Catalog with Azure services such as ADLS, Key Vault, and ADF, including in a hub-and-spoke architecture
• Collaborate closely with the internal IT platform engineering team to ensure seamless technical integration
• Analyze platform usage patterns and define best practices for Unity Catalog in line with governance, security, and compliance standards
• Produce high-quality documentation, including architecture decisions, configuration procedures, and operational guidelines
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data platform’s reliability, scalability, and efficiency through innovative technologies and methods

Your Profile:

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, specifically Unity Catalog
• Strong understanding of Azure data services and cloud architecture
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements within the financial services sector
• Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
