Workload : 100% Start Date: ASAPWe are supporting a leading laboratory services environment in the Basel area and are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to strengthen ongoing QC operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliant, efficient, and well documented quality control activities within a GMP regulated setting.
You will work closely with laboratory teams, QA, and technical experts to manage deviations, drive investigations, and reinforce a strong compliance culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage QC related deviations, root cause investigations, CAPAs, and change controls

• Maintain and revise QC controlled documents such as test methods, SOPs, forms, and logbooks

• Implement CAPAs within agreed timelines and support related training activities

• Support data integrity initiatives and ensure accurate, complete, and consistent documentation

• Conduct or support QC risk assessments and mitigation measures

• Monitor quality metrics including deviation trends and cycle times

• Collaborate closely with laboratory team leaders and QA to resolve quality issues efficiently

• Ensure compliant implementation of changes impacting QC workflows, systems, or methods

Requirements

• Experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control or contract laboratory services

• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and data integrity principle

• Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses in a GMP environment

• Familiarity with analytical methods, QC workflows, and documentation standards

• Strong technical writing skills with clear and structured documentation

• Experience with electronic quality and laboratory systems such as MasterControl or LIMS
