Early Clinical Development -Medical strategy
We are looking for an experienced leader to head, develop, and strategically direct the medical function across a region, multiple countries, or with global responsibility.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and oversee all medical functions, including Clinical Development, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.
- Manage the talent pool by fostering and advancing people development across all medical and related functions.
- Take ownership of internal and external budget planning.
- Establish and maintain the highest ethical standards across all medical activities.
- Provide governance and make key decisions regarding product safety, medical information, and related services, ensuring business success and compliance.
- Support business leaders and client-facing functions with medical expertise, contributing to growth and sustainability.
- Define and implement medical strategy tailored to regional, country-specific, or global needs.
- Ensure governance, training, and consistency across all operations.
- Appoint and support Country Medical Directors in collaboration with GMA management and CDH.
- Actively support product-related issue and risk management activities.
- Strengthen communication and alignment between medical and marketing functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Your Profile
- Advanced degree in Medicine or Life Sciences, ideally complemented by management or leadership training.
- At least 7 years of experience in a senior medical leadership role, preferably with international exposure.
- Proven track record in team leadership, talent management, and strategic development of medical functions.
- Strong expertise in Clinical Development, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, including experience engaging with KOLs.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
