As a Working Student in HR Operations & Compliance at MDPI, you will help keep our HR processes efficient, accurate and compliant while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced HR colleagues.

As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, this role requires working fully on-site.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations and administrative activities in line with established processes

• Maintain and update HR data, records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Assist in preparing, reviewing and organizing HR documents, templates, guidelines and internal procedures

• Support the implementation and monitoring of HR policies, compliance requirements and internal standards

• Perform administrative checks and follow-ups to ensure data quality, process consistency and compliance

• Collect, consolidate and prepare HR data for reports, analyses and internal reviews

• Help document, standardize and continuously improve HR processes and workflows

• Handle confidential employee and HR information with discretion and in line with data protection requirements

• Support HR projects and initiatives in operations, compliance and process optimization, and provide coordination support to the wider HR team

You will communicate primarily in English, our corporate language.

Requirements

• Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution

• Language Skills: Excellent English Skills (C1); German (C1) is also required

• Technical Skills: Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
