If you have a passion for outdoor living products and a desire to work in a dedicated environment with amazing colleagues - you've come to the right place! We make the dream possible. Be part of our dream team!
The Role
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our journey. You’ll work closely with the Head of Data and business stakeholders to turn raw data into insights and decisions. From modelling datasets in dbt to building dashboards in BI tools, you’ll ensure that Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance have the trusted, timely insights they need.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys sitting between business questions and data solutions — partnering with teams to understand their goals, translating them into data models, and enabling self-serve analytics. What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data models in dbt that power reporting, analysis, and experimentation.
- Partner with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into datasets and dashboards.
- Collaborate with technical peers to ingest and integrate data from tools like Shopify, Zendesk, Aircall, Hubspot, Airtable, and more.
- Own the definition and implementation of core business metrics (e.g., revenue, customer acquisition, support KPIs).
- Drive data adoption by enabling self-service analytics and improving data literacy across the company.
- Contribute to the data culture at PERGOLUX — influencing how teams think about and use data in their daily decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in an Analytics Engineering or BI-focused data role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with a transformation framework like dbt.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Strong stakeholder communication skills — you’re able to explain technical concepts in business terms and influence decision-making.
- Experience defining KPIs, building dashboards, and enabling self-serve analytics.
- Curiosity and business intuition: you ask “why?” before you jump into queries.
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce or with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Hubspot, or Airtable.
- Familiarity with data ingestion tools (Airbyte, Fivetran, Airflow).
- Background in early-stage/startups where you’ve partnered closely with business leaders.
- Comfort with Python or similar scripting languages for light automation.
