About us

REI brings contemporary Japanese izakaya dining to Berlin-Kreuzberg. Our menu centres on Japanese sharing plates, complemented by signature cocktails and selected sake. We combine a relaxed atmosphere with a strong focus on flavour, presentation and hospitality.

We are looking for an experienced Bartender with a hands-on approach, a passion for cocktails and a welcoming presence behind the bar.

Mix the drinks. Set the mood.

Tasks

• Prepare and serve cocktails, sake and other drinks with consistent quality and presentation.
• Welcome guests at the bar and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
• Set up the bar before service and complete closing duties.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Contribute ideas for signature cocktails and seasonal drinks.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and waste reduction.
• Handle orders and payments accurately.
• Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure attentive, well-timed service.
• Follow hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service practices.

Requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a cocktail bar or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and bar techniques.
• An interest in Japanese flavours and sake; relevant knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent English is essential.
• A friendly, attentive approach and a strong sense of hospitality.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality during busy service periods.
• A reliable, organised approach and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
