To support our revenue team, we are now looking for YOU - a Cluster Revenue Manager (m/f/x).

a&o Hostels is one of Europe's largest hostel chains, operating 43 properties in 30 cities across 10 countries.

Founded on the belief that travel should be accessible to everyone, our growing a&o club boasts nearly 300,000 members. As of August 2025, a&o reported total revenues of €116 million, up from €110 million in the first half of 2024, reflecting strong growth and continued success in the budget hospitality sector. In partnership with our owners, we have committed approximately €500 million towards the expansion, renovation, and modernization of both existing and new properties by 2030.

This is why we are looking for key players that will play a role in shaping the company’s revenue.
We are a very lean team with flat hierarchy

at a&o Hostels, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success of a designated group of hostels across Germany. This is a strategic position requiring strong analytical acumen, market insight, and hands-on collaboration across teams to maximize occupancy, revenue, and profit margins.

The role is hands-on and you will be expected to be in the numbers every day, but also in close collaboration with multiple departments such as Groups, Sales, Distribution, and Business Intelligence to maximize revenue and occupancy across a cluster of hostels.

Our hybrid policy means you work from the office four days per week may work from home one day per week.

Your Responsibilities

Revenue & Pricing Strategy

  • Design and execute revenue strategies tailored to each property’s market and guest mix
  • Optimize pricing across all room types and channels using dynamic, data-led approaches
  • Monitor pick-up trends, booking windows, and event calendars to proactively manage rates
Forecasting & Performance Analysis
  • Deliver precise demand forecasts on monthly basis
  • Monitor key revenue KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, market share) and implement corrective actions
  • Create detailed reporting packages and share insights with the revenue team and local operations
Channel & Inventory Management
  • Ensure optimal distribution across OTAs, metasearch platforms, and direct channels
  • Work closely with the distribution and inventory management team to optimize sales mix
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Align with Sales and Marketing teams to drive demand through campaigns and partnerships
  • Participate in budget planning and reforecasting processes at cluster and property level
YOUR PROFILE
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on revenue management experience in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with the European tourism market and demand drivers in urban and regional destinations
  • Experience in working with a Property Management System, and Revenue Management System. Internally we use ASSD as our PMS, and FLYR as our RMS
  • Data Analytics experience preferably with SQL / Python / Tableau / Excel
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently
