Aufgaben
To strengthen our event team for conferences and online workshops, we are currently looking for a
Conference Manager (m/f/d)
(40 hours/week) in Berlin
Tasks
You will be one of four conference managers who plan and execute conferences, workshops and seminars throughout Europe in our events department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Independent planning and conception of specialist legal and continuing education events (in German and English)
- Recruiting speakers and coordinating content, concepts and organisation with the speakers
- Monitoring and market analysis of relevant specialist topics
- Preparing content for programme and marketing products (flyers, website, banners, etc.)
- Planning and target group-oriented management of marketing campaigns (social media, etc.)
- Implementation and on-site support of events in Germany and throughout Europe
- Preparation of project calculations and responsibility for project budgets
Qualifikation
Qualifications
You have commercial training in event management or comparable training or studies. Ideally, you already have experience in event organisation in a legal/scientific working environment and are creative in developing new event formats. You also have:
- Strong organisational skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Resilience and flexibility
- Willingness to travel regularly in Germany and Europe
- Independent, structured way of working, with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Confidence in using common MS Office programmes (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Desirable: Good knowledge of and interest in European law issues as well as current developments and judgements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of website creation and maintenance is an advantage (especially WordPress)
