Since 1999, coolback has stood for taste and freshness in top bakery quality. With over 600 employees at our three locations around Berlin, we produce more than 1.3 billion baked goods every year. Through targeted investments in state-of-the-art baking technology and innovative product solutions, we have established ourselves as a reliable partner for the retail sector, system catering, and the food industry.
We are now looking for you as a Process Engineer (m/f/d) to further develop our product portfolio and act as a bridge between Sales and Product Development.
Here’s what awaits you in detail
- Analysis and optimization of existing production processes in the bakery
- Adjustment, further development, and documentation of recipes
- Planning, execution, and evaluation of test series (e.g. process parameters, raw material variations, plant configurations)
- Close collaboration with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Product Development
- Review and optimization of packaging solutions with regard to product protection, sustainability, and process reliability
- Introduction of new products and processes into series production
- Support in technical investment projects and equipment acceptance processes
What you bring with
- Completed vocational training or degree in food technology, bakery technology, process engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in industrial baking or food production are an advantage
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm for hands-on process work
- Analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and a hands-on mentality
- Team spirit and strong communication skills in interdisciplinary projects
- Confident handling of common Office and ERP systems
