Trade Entitlements – Investment Bank Technology
Trade Entitlements is a central system used across Investment Banking Technology as a control function for all aspects of trading. The system currently handles millions of requests per day, tuned to low latency requirements, and accessed globally by 100s of applications. In line with business ambitions, investment in the system is growing and with it, the team.
As the lead SRE Engineer (f/m/x), you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering the relevant tools and processes to raise the bar of quality, scalability and resiliency , ensuring the system can meet the bank’s goals.

Your key responsibilities
Design, develop and deliver a first-class SRE ecosystem
C hampion SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs and SLIs and their monitoring and reporting
Contribute to the system’s codebase (Java) to facilitate SRE requirements
Your skills and experiences
P roven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise work flows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
Extensive and solid experiene as Java engineer with high throughput web-based systems (Spring preferred)
Expert knowledge of SRE stack including Prometheus and Grafana
Proven to be able to operate autonomously, steer difficult decisions with technology stakeholders and deliver projects to a high degree of quality and longevity
Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, sprint delivery, and continuous improvement of trading capabilities
Experience of Kotlin preferred
