About the role: What's in the Box
You will join the DACH Marketing Domain as a strategic analytical partner for our Performance and Brand channels. In this role, you aren’t just a service provider; you are a thought partner to our Marketing Leads across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between raw data and real-world budget allocation, helping us optimize everything from high-intent performance spend to long-term brand equity. We are looking for someone who embodies our DNA—specifically Relentless Prioritization and Data-Drivenness—to ensure our marketing spend is always backed by rigorous analysis. This position is offered as a 12-month limited contract with the potential for extension (maternity cover).
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Act as a strategic advisor for DACH Marketing, using data to challenge assumptions and proactively influence the roadmap for both Performance and Brand teams.
- Apply Relentless Prioritization to your analytical roadmap, ensuring you and your stakeholders focus on the high-impact projects that drive measurable DACH growth.
- Drive "so-what" storytelling, transforming raw metrics and model outputs (like MMM) into high-level insights that help leadership prioritize the most impactful marketing levers.
- Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from the initial discovery with stakeholders to the deployment of automated dashboards and final strategic recommendations.
- Own the statistical rigor of our experimentation, designing and evaluating A/B and lift tests that move the needle on customer acquisition and retention.
- Workflow Innovation: You demonstrate a "test and learn" mindset by leveraging approved AI tools to enhance productivity, while maintaining a sharp eye for data accuracy.
- Collaborate on the technical data stack, writing advanced SQL and maintaining light data pipelines (e.g., Airflow DAGs) with support from senior technical leadership.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- Professional Analytical Experience: You have approx. 3+ years of experience in marketing or business analytics, where you’ve moved beyond execution into a "thought partner" role.
- Data-Driven Mindset: You are an expert at querying complex databases with Advanced SQL and modeling data to provide an objective path forward for the business.
- Learning Never Stops: You are naturally curious and proactive about "leveling up" your technical toolkit, with moderate experience in Python or R and a desire to grow in data engineering workflows.
- Data Visualization & Storytelling: You are proficient in Tableau (or similar tools), with a focus on creating actionable views that drive decision-making.
- Applied Statistical Knowledge: You understand how to apply statistical concepts to business problems, specifically around experimental design and significance.
- The Confidence to Challenge: You possess the communication skills and professional maturity to push back on stakeholders when the data suggests a different direction.
