Your Tasks
- Planning, organisation, and execution of laboratory work and experiments for the development of materials in the field of solid-state batteries
- Synthesis and characterisation of cathode materials (e.g., sulfides, oxides, polyanions), as well as cell assembly of solid-state batteries under varying experimental conditions
- Development and implementation of experimental plans to optimise material and battery performance
- Analysis and interpretation of experimental data (e.g., electrochemical measurements, XRD), visualisation of results, and preparation of reports and project documentation
- Presentation of research results at project meetings and scientific conferences, preparation of scientific publications as well as supervision and academic guidance of students, interns, and doctoral researchers
- Completed academic degree (Master's or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, with a PhD
- In-depth knowledge of electrochemistry, materials synthesis, and analytical techniques for battery materials
- Experience in cell assembly, galvanostatic cycling, impedance spectroscopy, XRD, and SEM
- Solid understanding of electrode and electrolyte properties as well as the theoretical principles of electrochemical energy storage
- Proficient in handling laboratory and measurement equipment such as potentiostats, gloveboxes, and synthesis setups
