Renewables Operations and Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d)

Uniper Renewables is responsible for developing Uniper's solar PV, onshore wind and co-location battery business, primarily in Europe. The renewable energy business is one of the key pillars of our strategic focus. Our goal is to achieve annual growth of more than 0.5 GW. Our geographical footprint and existing expertise enable us to further expand Uniper's solar, wind and co-location battery activities across all selected regions. Our Renewables Operations & Maintenance team is looking for you!

Your responsibilities

Prepare standardize O&M documentation for tenders (Scope of Work and technical requirements)
Support Procurement contract technical negotiations and evaluation of contractor proposals by providing O&M input aligned with company strategy
Support sourcing and evaluation of O&M contractors in relevant markets
Support refinement of OPEX estimates during project development
Assist in managing existing O&M service contracts and tracking contractual obligations, cost control and KPI compliance
Assist in monitoring performance of operational sites
Follow up on EPC warranty claims during the initial operational period

Your profile

University degree in the area of electrical engineering, renewable energies or similar
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in solar-PV or wind industry
Proficiency in O&M contract management and respective industry standards
Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
Basic to intermediate experience in contract negotiation and tendering processes
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel internationally
Business fluency in English, any other language will be helpful
