Security Systems Field Engineer (m/f/d) | Berlin-Brandenburg Area

Adecco is currently looking for an experienced Security Systems Field Engineer (m/f/d) for an international technology and manufacturing client in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.

This is a hands-on technical position focused on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical security systems in a complex, fast-paced industrial environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems and other low-voltage security equipment
• Test, configure, program and commission new security devices and systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high operational availability of security infrastructure
• Conduct site surveys for new installations and support the development of system designs and installation plans
• Prepare material lists and coordinate the technical requirements for installations
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Operations, Production, Real Estate and other internal teams
• Maintain technical documentation and system architecture records
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and cost efficiency
• Support and conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) surveys and inspections

Your Profile

✔ Several years of hands-on experience with technical / physical security systems

✔ Strong experience with CCTV / video surveillance and access control systems

✔ Experience with intrusion detection systems and other security devices

✔ Very good understanding of low-voltage electrical systems

✔ Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting

✔ Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks in a fast-paced environment

✔ Business-fluent English is mandatory

✔ German language skills are NOT required

Nice to Have

• Experience or certifications with Gallagher, Genetec or Commend
• Networking knowledge and/or CCNA certification
• Experience in manufacturing, corporate or large-scale industrial environments
• Previous experience with TSCM
