We’re currently looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help us take our mobile experience to the next level. If you’re excited about building beautiful, responsive apps in Jetpack Compose and shaping the future of podcast communities, we’d love to hear from you.

• Build and maintain our Android app using Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver delightful user experiences
• Ensure top-tier code quality, performance, and scalability in a mobile environment
• Take ownership of architectural decisions and help set technical direction for our Android codebase
• Actively participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team
• Help us shape and evolve the mobile experience at CampfireFM

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience, with 2+ years focused on Jetpack Compose
• Deep understanding of modern Android paradigms (Kotlin Coroutines, Flows, Architecture Components, etc.)
• Experience with integrating REST APIs and working with modern backend systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Gradle)
• Strong testing habits and experience using Espresso, JUnit, or similar frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English (required), German is a very big plus
• Must be based in Germany, preferably in or around Berlin
