As part of the second phase of establishing a Data Intelligence Platform, the client is developing and expanding an enterprise-wide data platform based on Azure Databricks. The goal is to provide modern data products and analytical use cases to support data-driven decisions within the organization. The project language and working language are English. We are looking for you as a Senior Data Management & Analytics Specialist (m/f/x) - Azure Databricks.

Your Tasks:

• Management and coordination of an ongoing Enterprise Data Platform program based on Azure Databricks
• Planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress, resources, risks, quality, and milestones
• Support for requirements engineering, including stakeholder management, requirements analysis, and backlog management
• Contributing to the definition and implementation of data products, use cases, and technical solution concepts
• Coordination of business and technical stakeholders as well as cross-functional project teams
• Management of dependencies with related programs and architecture and governance initiatives
• Support for the integration of new data sources and use cases in accordance with the platform roadmap
• Assistance with testing, release, and go-live activities, taking governance, security, and compliance requirements into account

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in the technical project management of data and analytics projects
• Sound knowledge of modern Azure data platforms, particularly Azure Databricks
• Experience in requirements engineering and agile project environments
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps/TFS, backlog management, and user story creation
• Experience managing interdisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
• Understanding of data governance, information security, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
