Diese Aufgaben warten auf Sie:

• Implement automated test suites for FPGA designs using VHDL, covering both functional and performance testing
• Integrate the automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline, leveraging tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
• Develop test harnesses and frameworks to enable efficient and scalable FPGA testing using VHDL and VUnit
• Collaborate with FPGA designers and developers to understand requirements and implement test automation solutions
• Design, build, and configure complex test racks with FPGA hardware and supporting equipment
• Implement the use of simulation tools like Modelsim and Questasim for FPGA verification with VHDL
• Work with FPGA vendor tools such as Altera Quartus, Xilinx Vivado, and Lattice Diamond to ensure seamless integration
• Analyze test results, identify and troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Document test strategies, procedures, and results to ensure traceability and maintainability

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in implementing test automation, particularly in the FPGA or hardware design domain using VHDL
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and configure complex test racks for FPGA and System hardware
• Strong expertise in FPGA design and verification methodologies
• Familiarity with some of the tools listed in the above responsabilities
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, bash, (yaml, C optional) and VHDL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Language skills: German fluent; English fluent // One of both at least
