GLS/NXT is looking for a Working Student in People & Business Processes to support key initiatives across our people operations, organisational excellence, and office management.

In this role, you'll work closely with our leadership and people managers, providing hands-on support across hiring, onboarding, and performance review processes, while also assisting with team events, day-to-day office management, and administrative and system management tasks. You'll help maintain clarity, structure, and strong communication across all people, business process, and office-related activities.

This role is a great fit for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute in a supportive capacity within a fast-paced, people-centric environment where processes, culture, and communication go hand in hand.

Tasks

  • Provide need-based administrative support to the People & Business Process Manager
  • Support admin and compliance basics, including vacation tracking and time off requests
  • Plan, run, and evaluate internal surveys and act on findings as needed
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires
  • Support the organisation and running of team events
  • Support with system administration and tool management, including administration of Wrenly
  • Manage the team birthday calendar and other recurring organisational tasks
  • Order drinks, snacks, and office supplies, and ensure the office is well-stocked and running smoothly

Requirements

  • Ongoing studies in business administration, quality management, psychology, human resources, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of recurring processes and small projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Interest in people operations, organizational development, operational excellence and team dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with various stakeholders, including leadership
  • Solution-oriented approach with the ability to ask relevant questions and drive progress
  • Availability of 15–20 hours per week and motivation to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
