NOC Engineer at our HQ in Bern - 100%
To start work immediately or at a later date by agreement.
The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, and to holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
Your main tasks
• Coordinating and acting on reported faults using Comfone tools
• Directly interfacing with clients; responding to client requests and notifying clients of network problems and business impacts
• Working on reported cases for SS7 and Diameter protocols
• Monitoring of Comfone international networks (SS7, Diameter, GRX) and service systems (STPs, DRAs, roaming hub)
• Work in NOC as primary escalation point for interconnection and roaming critical incident
• On-call duty service for 24/7 emergency support
Your ideal profile
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills with sensibility to an international environment
- Very good Analytical skills
- Technical education in telecommunications
- Experience with SS7, Diameter, GTP, DNS protocols, and roaming technology
- Knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunication market
- English proficiency in both verbal and written communication. Other languages are a plus
- Team spirit and willingness to do on-call duty service
