KD Pharma Group is a medium-sized, internationally operating company headquartered in Bexbach, Saarland. This is achieved through a dedicated focus on research and technology development for Omega-3 fatty acids. This enables KD Pharma Group to provide tailored solutions, allowing each customer to differentiate themselves from competitors in the global marketplace. In this key role as IT Manager, you will be responsible for the site’s entire IT and OT (Operational Technology) landscape and will drive the digital transformation forward.

Aufgaben

• You lead and motivate an IT team and promote their ongoing development in an agile work environment.
• You are responsible for the local infrastructure, Active Directory, and our cloud environments (Azure-based). You oversee the continuous optimization and maintenance of our servers, databases, and networks (Ubiquiti Unifi), as well as the provision of virtual desktop solutions for flexible working, with particular attention to high availability in production.
• You develop the IT strategy for the site and ensure that local requirements align with the global standards and objectives of the corporate group.
• You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CSV / Computer System Validation: GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU-GMP Guideline Annex 11) and protect both office and production IT against cyber risks.
• You serve as the link to production and are responsible for IT support of the manufacturing environment. In this role, you ensure connectivity and data exchange with production systems and controls .
• Participation in and support of global IT projects and management of external service providers (MSP management).

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or training as an IT specialist in system integration, or several years of professional experience with solid IT expertise.
• Several years of management experience in IT, ideally in a manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• In-depth knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies (virtualization, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud architectures). Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Confident handling of validation processes and regulatory standards.
• Ability to translate complex global requirements into pragmatic local solutions.
• A thinker with a hands-on mentality. Able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent German and English for communication at the group level.
