Aufgaben

Your Tasks:

1. Design and calculation of gears in Wind gearboxes according the relevant requirements to assure maximum torque density as well as reliable operation against the known damage mechanisms.
2. Development of internal standards for gear design to guarantee an efficient and failsafe dimensioning process of gears in the daily product development.
3. Conducting damage analyses including systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for gear damage, including the definition of effective corrective measures.
4. Optimization of the load-carrying capacity of gears through analysis and evaluation of manufacturing methods and processes.
5. Communication and cooperation with suppliers on gear-related topics with a focus on manufacturing and heat treatment processes.
6. Attending relevant seminars and continuously researching and analysing publications.

Qualifikation

Your Profil:

1. Completed studies (Master's degree or higher) in mechanical engineering with a focus on drive technology, gear technology or gear manufacturing.
2. Initial professional experience at institutes or companies in the field of gear or transmission technology.
3. Preferably experience in the field of large-module gears in the industrial or wind turbine gearbox sector
4. Confident handling of topics related to gear design, gear manufacturing and damage analysis.
5. Familiar with relevant standards such as ISO 6336, AGMA 6123 etc.
6. Familiar with software tools such as KISSsoft, Masta, FVA Workbench or similar for the design and evaluation of gears.
7. Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
8. Openness in daily, intercultural communication
