Join our HR Operations team as Praktikant*in/Intern (m/f/d) for 40 hours/week based in our Global Head Office in Bonn, Germany.
Role Purpose
You liaise and support our HR Operations Team and the HR Business Partner to manage all parts of HR operations delivering the best HR services to our workforce within a digital HR environment. You will have the chance to work on HR Projects and therefore will contribute to the digital transformation roadmap for HR. The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled team dedicated to serve all company needs of a diverse and international workforce. This role is a great start to your HR career as it brings a vast HR experience in an international environment.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
• Support HR topics coveringthe whole employee lifecycle including but not limited to contract management,onboarding,payrollpreparation,annualleaveandabsencerecordsandGerman labor law matters.
• Assistwiththeonboardingprocessofnewemployees;whereneededalsoensureemployees have a smooth relocation process.
• CooperationinHRprojectstodrivethedigitaljourneyfromDHL Express. • ProactivelymanageHRsystemsinordertoensuredataintegrityandleverageHRsystemsfor reporting and streamlining HR processes.
• EnsurethatHRfiles,bothphysicalanddigital,arecreatedandmaintainedinaccordancewith legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Liaisingwiththirdpartysuppliersaspayroll,relocationprovidersandGermanauthorities,e.g. Tax office, health insurance.
• Supportevent organization.
Do you have what it takes?
• Goodtoverygoodpreviousacademicperformance,ideallywithabusinessorHumanResources connection. • Strongadministrativeskillsandexcellentattentionto detail. • ConfidenthandlingofMSOfficeprograms(Word,Excel, PowerPoint). • Abilitytocommunicatewellatalllevelsandbuildgoodrelationships,bothinternallyand externally.
• Stronginterpersonalandcustomerservice skills. • Acommittedattitude,self-driveandtheabilitytouseinitiative,toprioritize,andrespondvery quickly to business requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Accuracy,timelinessandreliabilityinallaspectsofHR support. • Interculturalsensitivityandlanguage skills.
• Both fluent German and English language skills are mandatory for this role.
