YOUR ROLE
As Creative AI Lead (m/f/d), you will take on a key creative leadership role within our growing AI department.

You will be responsible for the creative development of sophisticated AI projects for leading international brands, guiding them from the initial idea through to the final result. In this role, you will combine a strong sense of aesthetics, visual storytelling and brand identity with extensive hands-on experience in Generative AI.

Your focus will be on developing exceptional visual concepts, distinctive visual worlds and innovative AI-driven creative solutions that bring together brand identity, creative excellence and emerging technological possibilities.

You will be our creative expert, technical lead, trusted advisor to our clients and a driving force behind the continuous creative evolution of our AI projects.

YOUR TASKS

• Creative Concept Development: Develop and provide creative leadership for innovative GenAI concepts across brands, campaigns and various content formats.
• AI Art Direction: Define and continuously refine the look and feel, visual language, visual systems and creative quality standards for AI-driven productions.
• Hands-on AI Creation: Independently test and combine Generative AI tools and models, applying them strategically to image and video productions.
• Brand Interpretation: Translate brand identities, client briefs and overarching creative visions into distinctive, reproducible GenAI approaches and visual worlds.
• Creative Project Leadership: Provide creative direction and drive the development of AI projects in close collaboration with interdisciplinary creative teams, including AI Artists, Art Directors, Designers, CGI Artists, Photographers, Motion Designers and other specialists.
• Creative Quality: Ensure consistently high creative standards, strong visual concepts and a cohesive brand identity – even across large volumes of assets and multiple campaigns.
• Client Management: Act as a trusted advisor and key contact for national and international clients at a senior level – from creative and strategic consulting to presentations and hands-on execution.
• Creative Technology: Collaborate closely with Production and Technology teams to translate creative ideas into technically robust and commercially viable production solutions.
• Innovation & Development: Continuously identify emerging AI models, creative technologies and visual trends, transforming them into new visual styles, formats and content concepts.
• Knowledge Sharing: Establish and share creative best practices and standards for the professional application of Generative AI.

WHAT WE EXPECT

What you should bring

• Several years of relevant professional experience in Art Direction, Creative Direction, Design, Visual Communication, Creative Technology or comparable creative disciplines.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Generative AI in professional creative projects and content productions.
• A strong aesthetic sense and exceptionally high standards for visual language, composition, lighting, styling, textures, materials and overall visual quality.
• A compelling portfolio that showcases your distinctive creative style, understanding of brand identity and professional application of Generative AI.
• Experience in independently developing concepts and providing creative leadership for sophisticated projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• The ability to translate brand requirements and creative briefs into distinctive visual concepts and visual worlds.
• A hands-on mindset, a passion for experimentation and genuine enthusiasm for emerging creative technologies.
• A confident and professional approach to working with demanding clients, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to make clear creative decisions, explain the reasoning behind them and confidently represent your creative vision within interdisciplinary projects.
• Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to work regularly on-site at our main production location in Bremen, as creative collaboration, production activities and direct client interaction are essential parts of this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven image and video generation, Image-to-Image, Style Development, Character Consistency or comparable generative techniques.
• Experience with hybrid photography, CGI, Motion, VFX or AI workflows.
• Experience working with international brands and high-end campaign productions.
• Knowledge of the fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, advertising or agency industries.
• Experience in client workshops, pitches, mentoring or providing creative leadership to interdisciplinary project teams.
