As a specialist recruitment partner, we are supporting the growth of their Digital Infrastructure function, which underpins complex, business-critical systems across multiple entities.

This organisation combines long-term stability with technically demanding projects, including secure infrastructure, automation at scale, and future cloud initiatives. Due to the nature of the work, many environments operate under strict security requirements, offering a unique opportunity to work on high-impact, sensitive systems.

• Administration and further development of Linux-based infrastructure (focus on Red Hat)
• Design, implementation, and optimisation of automation solutions (Ansible)
• 1st and 2nd level support for Linux systems and infrastructure environments
• End-to-end responsibility across operations and project delivery
• Consulting development and project teams on tooling, infrastructure, and architecture
• Acting as a bridge between IT, development, and business units
• Supporting secure and classified environments
• Contributing to future infrastructure projects (e.g. private cloud, OpenStack)
• Supporting modern development environments, including AI/LLM use cases

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux infrastructure, or system engineering
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Linux administration
• Proven experience with automation tools (Ansible)
• Solid understanding of secure and high-compliance environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on mindset
• Experience working across both operations and project delivery
• German (min. C1) and good English skills

Nice to have:
• Experience with OpenStack and/or Kubernetes
• Exposure to VMware or migration projects
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or sovereign cloud providers)
• Background in software development
• Knowledge of middleware technologies
• Familiarity with Git, SVN, or development tooling

• Salary range: €80,000–€100,000 depending on experience
