DIRECTOR OPERATIONS (a. g.)

• Our client is the German business of an international manufacturer of food, operating several national production sites
• The company generates sales on a 3-digit Mio. € level in Germany, producing a wide range of private label products for food retailers
• At the same time our client is active as contract manufacturer for several brands and also offers product development services for industry partners
• The German headquarter is based in the Northwest with a large factory nearby and other production plants located across Germany
• Currently we are looking for a new Director Operations Germany (a. g.) with direct reporting line to the COO Northern Europe

• Operational and strategic management of all operations functions for Germany and its production facilities, covering full responsibility for technology, planning, warehousing, quality and health & safety
• Direct management of 8 managers (plant managers and other OPS departments), overall responsibility for approximately 900 employees
• Development and implementation of measures and projects to increase productivity and cost efficiency, drive operational excellence in alignment with other North Europe OPS leaders and interfaces
• Targeted development of team competencies and management levels, as well as promotion of a CIP mindset
• Ensuring smooth production processes, balancing delivering customer requirements and manufacturing efficiencies based on defined targets and KPIs

• Several years of management experience in operations in the food industry with expertise in production and technology
• Forward-thinking, agile manager (a. g.) with a proven track record in increasing productivity and reducing costs with financial acumen
• Strong focus on processes and profitability in conjunction with operational excellence, CIP, TPM, and lean management programs
• Knowledge of environmental and occupational safety law
• Strong leadership personality with high social competence in change processes and the development of teams and talent
• Can-do mentality, conceptual, solution-oriented, and strong implementation skills, with ability to inspire and motivate people
• Successful technical degree or comparable qualification

• Assuming a key role in the strategic and operational development and orientation of the German entity
• Extensive freedom to significantly shape the growth and future viability of the company
