For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a

Earth Observation System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Analysis of flight Telemetry to check anomalous behaviour and improve flight operations
  • Perform trend analysis of Telemetry data
  • Prepare regular Routine Operation Support reports for the in-orbit satellites
  • Close collaboration with project system engineering and Routine Operation Support manager
  • Participate to meetings and reviews with the customer
  • Support the design, development and validation of flight data analysis tool
  • Provide feedback from Routine Operation Support activity to improve future Earth Observation mission design
  • Flowing back operational results into proposals and projects
  • Close collaboration with on-going projects in different mission phases

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent, with focus on aerospace engineering and computer science
  • Good understanding of space missions and their constraints and challenges
  • Good understanding of satellite and platform design
  • Ideally knowledge of the particular constraints and challenges of Earth observation missions
  • Highly proactive working style
  • Accustomed to work in teams
  • Ability to self-organize the work and react on changes during the project
  • Good organizational skills
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
