Space Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
As
part of the Satellite Systems Engineering Department, the System Engineering
team aims at providing services to ensure the technical coordination of the
project.
Main
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
- Coordinate spacecraft validation and verification on system level
- Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers
- Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
- Define the satellite configuration and manage the satellite internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher interfaces)
- Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
- Support the generation the AIT plans and operation plans
- Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
- Define Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification
- Responsible for maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
- Preparation for launch and flight phases, preparation of launcher interfaces and for operations data
- Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature
Your Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
- Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D and in the field of verification/interface
- Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
- Self-managed and pro-active working style
- Ability to work with and implement processes
- Ability to work in a team
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous.
