Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d) - Navigation
Your Tasks
- Coordinate engineering activities between suppliers, subsystem engineers, and the system team
- Manage requirement flow-down, implementation, and verification
- Perform system-level assessments, trade-offs, and analyses
- Maintain technical system budgets
- Solve technical challenges within the project team and with the customer
- Define and document autonomous and ground-based FDIR implementation
- Prepare satellite-level test specifications, procedures, and scripts
- Support and review satellite-level testing
- Generate and validate operational procedures
- Participate in environmental tests, launch, and commissioning/campaigns
Your Qualifications
- You hold a degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- You bring experience in satellite projects, ideally in subsystem or system engineering and phases C/D/E
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are proactive, and enjoy solving complex challenges
- You can work independently while coordinating effectively within a team
- You communicate confidently in English (written and spoken); German or other languages are a plus
- You are curious, solution-oriented, and eager to contribute to next-generation navigation systems
