Subsystems Engineer (m/f/d) - Software-Defined Radio
Your Tasks
- Design and simulation of software-defined radio equipment for radar applications
- Preparation of subsystem specifications
- Conduct and coordinate internal equipment development activities
- Technical management for planning, initiating and supervising procurement contracts with external equipment suppliers
- Providing independent technical assessments to both project level and customer system level and subsystem reviews
- Contribute to planning, coordination, and control of subsystem verification activities
- Preparation of presentation materials and reports to project management
Your Qualifications
- University degree in telecommunications engineering, RF/microwave engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the fields of programmable logic (FPGAs)
- In-depth knowledge of SW-defined radio and radar systems including constitutive building blocks and good understanding of signal processing concepts
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
- Well developed team working and communication
- Good negotiation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
