For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Systems Engineer (m/f/d) - Earth Observation
Your Tasks
- Drive the development of an Earth observation constellation satellite
- Close collaboration with the Engineering and PA/QA team to perform system engineering tasks
- Preparation/support of proposals and studies for missions derived from the Standard Platform and close collaboration with the pre-development department to ensure the platform implementation meets the mission objectives
- Preparation of necessary documentation to address the Standard Platform like requirements, development plans
Implementation and management of project schedule and budget - Definition and execution of project goals in collaboration with and according to company strategy, future missions’ needs
Your Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
- Good understanding of space missions and their constraints and challenges
- Good understanding of satellite and platform design
- Ideally knowledge of the particular constraints and challenges of earth observation missions
- Highly proactive working style
- Accustomed to work in teams
- Ability to self-organize the work and react on changes during the project
- Good organizational skills
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
