Systems Engineer (m/f/d) - Navigation
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the analysis, definition, derivation, and management of system and subsystem requirements, ensuring completeness, consistency, and verifiability while considering cost and verification impacts
- Coordinate system architectures and technical interfaces, and assess design concepts with respect to requirements, risks, costs and schedules
- Lead and support development and design activities, including technical analyses to demonstrate compliance with specified system requirements
- Support and contribute to system design reviews, verification planning, and the preparation and management of system-level technical budgets
- Prepare test specifications and support the definition, execution, and evaluation of verification and testing activities to demonstrate requirement compliance
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of Launch and Early Orbit Phase and In-Orbit Test activities
Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree (Master’s, Diploma, or PhD) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Extensive experience in the design, development, and system engineering of spacecraft, space equipment, and related subsystems
- Proven expertise in at least one systems engineering domain, such as Mission Analysis, Spacecraft Operations, System Design, System Analysis, Interface Engineering, Requirements Engineering & Management, Verification & Validation, or Engineering Coordination
- Strong analytical and technical judgment skills combined with a holistic systems perspective and a solution- and cost-oriented mindset
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, flexibility in addressing technical challenges, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
