Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Navigation
At OHB’s Navigation Directorate, we are working on satellite missions in all stages of development. We are shaping the future of satellite-based navigation and timing through bold ideas and technologies, as well as developing and supporting operations of our existing satellites. Your Tasks
- Support to several system-level activities throughout phases A to E, such as:
- Preparation of technical proposals for upcoming Navigation projects
- Definition of system-level concepts, architectures and technical budgets
- Provision of various system engineering disciplines including Security, System Software, Operations, Mission Analysis, MTP, Electrical Architecture, EMC/RFC, Radiation
- Requirements engineering from customer requirements to verification
- Management of satellite functional and performance requirements
- Coordinate interfaces across spacecraft, payload, launch and ground segments
- Technical problem solving in collaboration with subsystem engineers, system engineers, suppliers and customers
- Preparation of technical documentation for design reviews
- Definition and review of system-level test specifications and verification plans
- Support to AIT with procedure development, testing and reporting
- Participation of campaigns
- Anomaly support to routine operations of satellites in flight
- Support to project management in terms of technical risk assessment, schedule inputs, data pack preparation
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Physics or equivalent qualification
- General knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering, satellite systems and services
- Strong communication skills, initiative and proactivity
- Ability to work both independently and in diverse teams
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in written and spoken English
