Empowering Learning Ltd is currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school in Hackney, London. We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on individuals with experience supporting students with a range of special educational needs, particularly autism.

The school highly values strong academic support, so candidates should be confident in assisting students with their learning. A willingness to provide personal care when required is also important.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that helps every student thrive.

• Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to work in SEND learning environments.
• Possess knowledge and experience with SEND students or a strong background in supporting individuals with autism.
• Have experience working in the education or care system, supporting either adults or children.
• Contribute meaningfully to the students' learning journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups
• Supervising children inside and outside the classroom
• Encouraging and supporting students in their learning
• Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning
