We are looking for a Risks, Resilience & Operational Excellence Lead who is strategic, data-driven and demonstrates strong leadership to join our Patient Supply Quality Control - Analytical Operations & Excellence team, based at our UCB campus located in Bulle, Switzerland or Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

About the role

You will strengthen the performance, strategic alignment and resilience of our Patient Supply Quality Control organization. You will turn strategic priorities into a clear QC actionable roadmap and build a sustainable performance culture. Through data, structured governance and employee engagement, you will drive operational excellence, oversee risk management and strengthen business continuity while protecting quality, compliance, patient safety and reliable supply.

Who you will work with

You will work closely with the Patient Supply QC Leadership Team and collaborate across Patient Supply, Internal Manufacturing, Quality, Digital, Data, Supply Chain and DT. You will connect different teams and priorities, influence decisions without direct authority and support leaders and operational teams in delivering sustainable and continuous improvements. You will also represent Patient Supply QC within relevant risk, performance and governance communities.

What you will do

• You will develop and deliver the Patient Supply QC Operational Excellence roadmap.
• You will lead and coach cross-functional improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven problem-solving.
• You will translate strategic priorities into objectives, roadmaps, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• You will manage performance frameworks, KPIs, governance reviews and improvement actions.
• You will oversee the QC risk portfolio, mitigation plans and business-continuity readiness.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, pharmacy, quality, operations, analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Control and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience applying Kaizen and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in strategy deployment, performance management, risk management and business-continuity planning.
• Ability to leverage data to identify improvement opportunities, optimize processes and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Strong data literacy and ability to collaborate with digital, data and IT teams.
• Influential and inclusive communicator with strong project leadership skills and excellent English and French.
