For our Supply Chain Management team at our Burbach site (NRW), we are looking for a qualified candidate to join us as

Global Transport Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Develop and implement a global transport strategy balancing cost, service, and sustainability
• Optimize multimodal transportation networks and manage global material flows
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track and improve transport performance
• Negotiate and manage logistics service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
• Ensure efficient transport operations and drive the implementation of digital tools for visibility and automation
• Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and regulatory requirements and manage associated risks
• Take ownership of transport budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support global projects and initiatives

Your profile:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of experience in global transport management within an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of international transport processes, Incoterms, and customs regulations
• Experience with transport management systems (TMS)Strong analytical skills with experience in cost and performance management
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in international matrix organizations
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Willingness to travel
