Your Role: This role is a key leadership role responsible for creating and leading a team of strategists who act as business partners to the franchises within the Advanced Solutions business. This position will ensure the effective execution of strategic initiatives while collaborating closely with project managers to drive results. The role requires a strategic mindset to support ambitious growth goals and the ability to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
You will build and lead a high-performing team of strategists who support the franchises by providing actionable insights and strategic guidance, structure and drive strategy development projects aligned with long-term business objectives, ensuring alignment with franchise goals, analyze market reports, clinical pipeline databases, and internal data to identify trends and quantify opportunities that support franchise success, build business cases to evaluate opportunities and inform investment decisions, acting as a trusted advisor to franchise leaders, collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare impactful presentations for executive management, effectively communicating strategic priorities, oversee the execution of strategy through project managers, ensuring timely completion of initiatives and fostering alignment across various management levels, and cultivate strong partnerships with franchise leaders to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively integrated into business operations.
Who You Are:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or a quantitative field.
- 10+ years in a strategic or analytical role, including experience in management consulting or the life sciences industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A results-driven leader with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, motivated by the desire to change patient lives and create value.
- Willingness to travel 10-20%.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
- Experience in analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau).
