In this role, you work as stress engineer for dynamic system components on H135, H145 and Tiger helicopter programs. You perform sizing, stress analysis, lifetime assessment and structural justification for metallic and composite components.

Your tasks

• Size, analyze and justify dynamic system components considering weight and performance aspects
• Perform static calculations and lifetime analyses for metallic and composite parts
• Apply analytical stress methods and finite element analyses for structural assessment
• Define, support and evaluate tests as well as flight test campaigns
• Assess quality notifications, production deviations, repairs and design changes
• Answer customer questions and support investigations of in-service incidents

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, aerospace or a comparable technical field
• Several years of engineering experience with a focus on stress analysis
• More than 3 years of professional experience in engineering
• Experience with analytical stress methods such as HSB, Bruhn, ESDU or Roark & Young
• Very good FEM knowledge, e.g. HyperMesh, OptiStruct, NASTRAN or ABAQUS
• Business-fluent English skills; German skills are an advantage
