CAD Designer/Drafter

An established planning and consulting engineering firm is seeking a CAD Designer/Drafter (m/f/d) for a full-time, permanent position at one of its offices in North Rhine Westphalia, available to start immediately.

The company is active in diverse fields including infrastructure planning, civil engineering, geotechnics, and environmental services, with a significant focus on projects supporting the renewable energy sector.

Core Responsibilities:
- Utilizing CAD software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D, alongside standard office programs.
- Processing survey data and point clouds for design input.
- Developing 3D models (both existing site and planned works) primarily for earthworks, civil engineering (like excavations, landfills), and site development projects.
- Creating detailed, scaled plans and construction drawings for civil engineering, earthworks, and infrastructure projects, including access routes for specialized transport in energy projects.

Candidate Profile:
- A university degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Fundamental knowledge of AutoCAD, with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D for terrain modelling being highly advantageous.
- Good general computer literacy and proficiency in the German language (both written and spoken).
- Possession of a valid car driving license.
- Attributes desired: Flexibility, results-oriented mindset, and strong teamwork skills.
- Beneficial: Some initial professional experience in relevant sectors (e.g., ground engineering, civil works, transport infrastructure, renewable energy) or experience with specialized geotechnical software/report writing.
