Wir sind eine vom Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales und vom Land NRW institutionell geförderte Forschungseinrichtung und Träger des Leibniz-Instituts für Arbeitsforschung an der TU Dortmund (IfADo).
Wir erforschen in interdisziplinären Ansätzen die Risiken und Potenziale moderner Arbeit. Dabei verbindet das IfADo die Fachbereiche Ergonomie, Immunologie, Toxikologie, Psychologie & Neurowissenschaften.
The Project Group Neuroimmunology (group leader Prof. Dr. Silvia Capellino) offers a full-time position available from Mai 2026 as
Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m/d)
in Neuro-endocrine-immunology (100 %)
initially for a duration of 36 months with the possibility of extension after positive evaluation.
The postdoctoral fellow will be part of a research group investigating the influence of neurotransmitters on immune cells and other non-neuronal cells, such as bone cells. Experimental
work will be done to better understand how sex hormones and neurotransmitters modulate activation
and intracellular pathways of human immune cells and other non-neuronal cells.
The position will provide excellent training and opportunities in many aspects of Neuro-endocrine-
immunology. We offer state of the art equipment, a great scientific environment, and an energetic and
productive team with many fascinating questions.
- PhD degree with a strong background in immunology, cell biology and signal transduction
- Being highly motivated, collaborative and responsible
- Ability to work independently, establish new techniques and present data (scientific writing and oral communication)
- Fluency in both oral and written English
- At least basic German language knowledge
- Experience with flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques will be favorable
- A full-time position with currently 39.83 hours per week

- Remuneration according to the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (position value EG 13 TV-L. The classification depends on the collective agreement and personal requirements)
