What you’ll do
- Shape the strategy: develop our data and AI strategy and roadmap, aligned with our business and IT strategy.
- Design the architecture: define our target data architecture and the standards for data integration, storage, modelling and access.
- Build the platform: design a central data platform (data warehouse or lakehouse) and build it step by step, prioritised by business value.
- Create a single source of truth: define data models, KPIs and master data together with our business units.
- Establish data governance: set up data ownership, data quality rules, metadata and access management.
- Connect the systems: design and oversee the interfaces between our source systems and the data platform.
- Bring AI to life: identify, evaluate and prioritise AI use cases, then take the best ones from proof of concept to stable operation.
- Stay compliant: make sure our solutions meet GxP, GDPR, EU AI Act and information security requirements.
- Steer partners: select technologies and external partners and lead implementation projects.
- Build know-how: advise management, train key users and grow data and AI skills across the organisation.
