As an early team member, you’ll have real ownership over AI components and help define how generative AI is applied in a production-grade compliance platform.

Your role

As an AI Engineer at COBACK , you will design, build, and operate the AI components of our platform. You’ll work hands-on with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and modern ML tooling to bring reliable, scalable AI features into production.

• Development and fine-tuning of LLM-based applications
• Building and operating RAG pipelines and vector databases
• Prompt engineering, evaluation, and continuous improvement
• Close collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Real ownership over AI architecture and model integration decisions

What you bring:

• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning and/or NLP
• Practical experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models)
• Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks
• Solid understanding of embeddings and vector databases
• Interest in compliance, legal tech, or regulated domains
• Good English skills (German is a plus)
