At the Dresden site we’re looking for a motivated Intern (m/w/d) for the PowerGaN Research and Development Team.
The possibility to convert the internship position towards a master thesis is available.

Your field of activity:

  • You support the research and development team on Power GaN development
  • You create and present GaN-based device simulation models using various physics-based simulations softwares
  • You work with the electrical measurement team to compare the models data with electrical measurements
  • You support the daily activities of the PowerGaN Team

Your profile:

  • Studies or experience in Electrical, Material Science, Applied Physics, Semiconductor Physics or Engineering related fields
  • Prior experience in any Physics-based simulation software such Silvaco TCAD, Synopsis Sentaurus TCAD, etc. as an Advantage
  • You take responsibility, can work independently and are dependable
  • You ask questions when you do not understand
  • You are self-driven and possess strong communication skills
  • You enjoy working in a team environment
  • You are proficient in spoken and written English. German language as an advantage
