Project Manager Tender and Pricing Road Freight Europe (f/m/d)
Job Description
As Project Manager Tender and Pricing Road Freight Europe (f/m/d) , you will be responsible for managing RFX-related processes within Tender Management & Pricing Road. You will develop pricing and solution design responses for RFQs in the road division, working independently of specific legal entities or business units.

Key Accountabilities:
- Handle RFXs received for the road freight business in terms of pricing and solution design; coordinate the entire process from receipt to post-tender review
- Prepare detailed cost calculations and solution concepts according to customer requirements, including price sheets, presentations, and terms & conditions
- Align with Operations to clarify demands and screen incoming RFXs accordingly
- Cooperate with Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders (e.g., Fleet Management, Controlling, Legal, HR) on specific RFQ topics, acting as central point of contact
- Prepare management summaries, what-if calculations, and support management discussions during the decision-making process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics (or equivalent)
- Alternatively, education as a forwarding merchant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Proven experience in a similar role with at least 3 years of professional practice
Experience?:
- Strong background in the logistics industry
- Experience in operational and commercial aspects of road transportation
- Proven track record in cost calculations
- Detailed understanding of the European Road Transport market
