Über diesen Job
Junior IoT Hardware & System Developer (m/f/d)
We are growing rapidly in the areas of hardware integration, special solutions, IoT edge development, and system connectivity—and are looking for a Junior Internet of Things Hardware & System Developer (m/f/d) in Bavaria. For this role, we are looking for someone who wants to get involved, collaborate, develop independently, and quickly familiarize themselves with new topics—with real responsibility from day one.
You work at the intersection of hardware and software. You develop your own integrations , build prototypes , analyze devices , program small tools, and ensure that hardware is seamlessly integrated into our applications. You are a beginner—but not an observer. You make a real contribution and quickly grow into more challenging topics.
Your tasks - what you do with us:
Hardware integration & system development
- Collaboration in the development and implementation of hardware controls, integration modules, and technical function modules.
- Analysis and testing of new devices, interfaces, and control logic.
- Development of smaller functions, scripts, or tools in Python, Java, C, C++, or PHP
Tinkering, testing, and building prototypes
- Construction of test rigs, laboratory setups, and hardware prototypes.
- Conducting tests, measurements, and functional analyses.
- Developing and refining solutions — sometimes unconventional ones.
Monitoring & Stability
- Support in setting up and further developing our device monitoring system.
- Evaluation of monitoring and system data to improve reliability.
- Collaborating on solutions that are stable, clean, and scalable in the long term
Collaboration with Software & Product
- Close coordination with our software developers to ensure seamless device connectivity.
- Collaboration on technical concepts and specifications.
- Structured documentation of your results and solutions.
Pragmatic, flexible development
- No corporate standards: you develop solutions that make technical sense.
- You contribute your own ideas, try them out, and implement them with the team.
- You work on real products, not concepts.
Your profile – what you should bring to the table
You have a technical background (e.g., technical degree, state-certified technician, IT specialist, IT systems engineer, electronics technician, mechatronics engineer, or you have acquired the relevant knowledge through other technical means). You should also have the following:
- Solid understanding of technical devices, hardware fundamentals, and signal processing.
- Initial programming experience in a relevant language (Python, PHP, Java, C, C++, etc.).
- Basic understanding of Linux or willingness to learn it quickly.
- Ability to analyze problems thoroughly and document them clearly.
- High quality standards for our own work.
- You want to understand how things work—and you enjoy programming yourself.
- You enjoy tinkering, testing, experimenting, and developing.
- You work independently, seek solutions, and persevere.
- You communicate openly and enjoy working in a team.
What we offer you:
- Start as a developer at the hardware × software interface.
- Responsible tasks right from the start — with mentoring from experienced colleagues.
- High practical component: real devices, real data, real impact.
- Freedom for your own ideas, pragmatic solutions, and creative engineering.
- Modern laboratory environment, tools, and testing equipment.
- Further education & training
- work-from-home option
- Company pension scheme
- employee discounts
