• Design and execute sourcing strategies that go beyond cost—delivering value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Select and manage suppliers for your business unit, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and strategic goals.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to continuously refine sourcing plans.
• Drive annual price performance across assigned categories.
• Lead end‑to‑end supplier selection , from market scanning to final approval and communication.
• Negotiate contracts that meet business requirements and secure long‑term value.
• Manage key supplier relationships , ensuring performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders , building trust and enabling procurement excellence across the organization.

Your profile:

• Minimum 7 years of senior‑level experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within complex, global manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead major transformation initiatives , including supplier landscape redesign, category strategy evolution, and long‑term value creation.
• Deep expertise in category management and strategic sourcing , with strong understanding of technical or industrial components and the ability to challenge established approaches.
• Strong commercial and negotiation acumen , with a proven record managing high‑value international portfolios and influencing multi‑regional supply ecosystems.
• Executive presence and credibility to operate confidently at C‑suite level , engaging senior leaders internally and across key supplier organizations.
• Analytical, forward‑looking mindset , capable of interpreting market dynamics, assessing supplier capabilities, and converting insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills in English ; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a strong asset.
• Proactive, results‑driven leader with a history of successful strategy execution in matrixed environments, fostering cross‑functional alignment and building trusted partnerships.
• Compensation range: 180k–200k CHF fixed base.

This position is located in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Applicants must hold a valid Swiss work permit and be legally resident in the Canton of Vaud
