As a System Integration Engineer at go-e, you will work at the forefront of BEV charging infrastructure innovation. You will play a key role in Austrian and European development projects within consortia involving major technology partners, universities, and research institutions. Your mission is to design, implement, and optimize automated system architectures that enable seamless, efficient, and scalable electric vehicle charging solutions.

Your area of responsibility

1. Develop and integrate control and automation solutions across hardware and software layers in charging systems
2. Lead system architecture design, interface definition, and testing for cross-disciplinary development projects
3. Collaborate with research and industrial partners in EU-funded and national consortia projects
4. Support go-e’s R&D activities by defining control strategies and implementing prototype-and demonstrator-level software or firmware components
5. Conduct performance analysis and contribute to system validation and certification processes
6. Transfer developed technologies into product development

It would be great if you have

• University or university of applied sciences degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Control, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. The position can also be taken as part of the final phase of your studies
• Solid understanding of automated control systems, distributed architectures, and communication protocols
• Experience in system integration, automation, and model-based design
• Familiarity with power electronics and/or EV charging infrastructure is advantageous
• Strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving approach, and excellent teamwork skills
• Fluent in English
