A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

Your tasks

• You develop, program and operatedata, machine learning and AI pipelines(end-to-end: data acquisition, processing, training, deployment and monitoring).
• You developproduction-ready software solutionsin Python and reliably transfer models into operational use.
• You will conductexploratory data analysis (EDA)and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex datasets.
• You design, implement, and optimizemachine learning modelsto solve specific business problems.
• You develop and maintainprompt strategies (prompt engineering)for LLM-based use cases such as extraction, classification, summarization, and Q&A.
• You work onLLM architectures, e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• You will work closely with Product, Engineering, BI and specialist departments to implementscalable, automated AI solutions.
• You ensure the quality, traceability, maintainability, and performance of code, models, and pipelines.
• You prepare analysis and model results in a way that is understandable for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you bring

• A completeddegreein Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable quantitative field.
• Several yearsof practical experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or in a comparable role.
• Excellentprogramming skills in Pythonand experience with production-oriented software development.
• Solid experience withdata, ML or AI pipelines(e.g. ETL/ELT, feature pipelines, training and inference workflows).
• Experience withMLOps and pipeline tools(e.g., Azure ML, MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD, container workflows).
• Excellent knowledge ofprompt engineeringfor large language models, including testing, versioning, and optimization of prompts.
• Understanding of modernLLM architecturesand evaluation of model and output quality.
• Safe handling ofdatabases (SQL/NoSQL)as well as structured and unstructured data.
• Analytical thinking skills, strong problem-solving abilities and a pronouncedengineering mindset.
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level).
